This site is an attempt to make sense of my four "Grandparent" families and how they link to me:

24 Jul 2006	It is with deep sadness that I report the death yesterday evening of Frances (Peggy) Walmsley (nee Thomas) [RIN 25]. She leaves her two children, Andrew and Jane. My thoughts are with them.
2 Apr 2006	There are now two versions of the these genealogy records, the first are records created with a genealogy program, the second consists of 'hand-made' pages for each person. As this takes a lot longer, it is not yet complete!
1 Apr 2006	80th Birthday Celebration - of Betty Williams (Elizabeth Ellen Thomas). This was a massive family reunion with the Perkins, Thomas and Williams families represented through 3 generations. Photos
16 Aug 2005	Major input for the Perkins family - at last, with more than a little help from Philip Wright - a 2nd cousin (RIN 1).

These Sites

The commercial site has been created using Legacy version 5, and as such, the format is thrust upon me. Each individual is allocated a record identification number (RIN). Number is brackets after a name will be this RIN. This format of site needs a starting point, so I have used me.

In the 'Hand-made' site, th pages have been designed by me and eash one has to be made individually. For ease, I have carried the RIN over to this site, so if you are RIN 30 in one site, you will be 30 in the other.

As with many families, my ancestral branches weave in and out. The Williams family is traced back to Thomas, through Price. Is this the same Thomas family or just a family with the same name? The Thomas family meets another Williams family in the 1950s when Elizabeth Ellen Thomas married Brian Williams. As far as I know, there is no connection between Brian's family and the pre-1900 Williams family listed on this site.
